Two agents of The Antivoid were interrupted mid-audio performance with two more storming the floor and positioning themselves amongst the audience. Holding up two tubes, the interlopers yelled “CALL OUT MONSTER” at each other, before directing the gesture toward the audience.
A Hyperstitional Intervention.
An exasperated scream.
Constricted subjectivities.
Passive spectatorship.
Performative rebellion.
The perfomance highlights the in-efficacy of all positions to propagate change. To discover alternatives to fixed systems, we must confront the inertia that holds us back from imagining new patterns of thought and collective action.
